These rules keep the community useful and safe. Breaking them can get content removed and Street Cred deducted.
Rider Wiki is built by the riding community. Everything members post - guides, reviews, classifieds listings, route files, gear loadouts, events, deals, rider cards - is visible to other riders. These rules set out what we expect. Content that breaks them may be removed, and accounts that repeatedly break them may be warned or suspended.
Don't post unsolicited promotions, referral links, affiliate links, or repeated off-topic messages designed to drive traffic elsewhere. Classified listings must describe a genuine item for sale or trade; bulk or bot-generated listings are not allowed.
Don't target, threaten, or intimidate another person - whether a named individual or another member. This includes hostile replies, sustained pile-ons, or content that exists to demean rather than discuss.
Content that attacks or demeans people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics is not allowed - in any language and in any form (text, images, usernames, or rider card content).
Rider Wiki is not an adult platform. Don't post sexually explicit material, nudity, or content that sexualises individuals. This includes profile images, rider cards, and garage media.
Don't post content that glorifies or promotes violence, facilitates illegal activity (including the sale of stolen vehicles or parts), or encourages behaviour that puts other road users at risk. This includes boasting about dangerous riding that breaks traffic law.
Only post content you own or have the right to share. Don't reproduce substantial excerpts of OEM service manuals, third-party guides, or copyrighted images without permission. If you're quoting a source, keep it brief and attribute it.
Guides and comments that give technically incorrect or dangerous mechanical advice - bad torque figures, wrong fluid grades, skipped safety steps - can cause real harm. If you spot a mistake, use the correction tool. If it looks deliberate, report it.
Don't post another person's private information without their consent - home address, phone number, vehicle registration, identity documents, or financial details. This applies whether the information is accurate or not.
Content should go in the right place. A classified listing for an unrelated product, a deal posted in the guides section, or a route submitted with a fabricated GPX file are all examples of content that misleads other riders and will be removed or moved.
If content feels wrong but doesn't clearly fit a category above, report it anyway. Moderators review every report and can act on context that a category doesn't capture.
Every piece of content on Rider Wiki carries a flag icon. Tap it to open the report dialog, pick the category that best matches, and optionally add a short note. Moderators review all reports. Depending on severity, enforcement can mean removing the content, issuing a warning, suspending an account, or deducting Street Cred from the account responsible. Repeat or serious violations may result in permanent suspension.
