Rider Wiki is a trading name of Pink Commerce Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 15562017), registered office Suite 206, Britannia House, 11 Glenthorne Road, London, England, W6 0LH. In these terms "we", "us" and "Rider Wiki" mean Pink Commerce Ltd. By using the site (riderwiki.com) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Rider Wiki is

Rider Wiki is a free, community-built motorcycle platform - the community is the wiki. It includes community-authored maintenance & repair guides, a personal garage (with bike ownership reviews), a Wardrobe and Loadouts (gear tracking), GPX routes and a Passport, classifieds (The Forecourt), community-posted deals and events, a mechanic directory, and shareable Rider Cards. There is no paywall and no affiliate links. Most features work without an account.

User-generated content

Much of what you see on Rider Wiki - guides, ownership reviews, route files, classifieds listings, deals, events, loadouts, rider card content, garage entries, and comments - is submitted by community members, not by us. We moderate content before it is published or after it is reported, but we do not pre-screen everything and we are not the publisher of what you write.

You are responsible for anything you submit. By submitting content you confirm that:

• it is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
• you own it or have the right to post it;
• it is lawful and not illegal to possess, publish or share;
• it complies with our Community Rules; and
• it does not infringe third-party intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights.

Content you submit, including any image or video, must be lawful. You must not upload anything that is illegal or unlawful to possess, publish or share - including child sexual abuse material, content that is obscene, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or that incites violence or hatred, and anything that breaches another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.

Rider Wiki is a hosting platform, not the author or publisher of member content. Member content - including images and videos - is stored and displayed automatically at your direction, and we do not pre-screen every upload. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for content posted by users, including any content (such as an image) that turns out to be unlawful, infringing or otherwise illegal. Responsibility and liability for such content rests with the member who posted it.

Notice and takedown. If you believe content on the site is illegal or infringes your rights, report it using the flag icon on the content or email hello@riderwiki.com. We will review it promptly and remove anything that is unlawful or breaches these terms. Where the law requires, we will preserve relevant information and report serious illegal content (for example child sexual abuse material) to the appropriate authorities.

Indemnity. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rider Wiki (Pink Commerce Ltd) and its operators against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and reasonable legal costs arising out of content you submit or your breach of these terms.

Content licence

You keep ownership of anything you submit. By submitting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, display, modify (for clarity or formatting) and redistribute it on the site and in associated features - for as long as your account or submission exists.

• Guides, reviews, loadouts and route files you mark public are visible to and may be downloaded or shared by anyone on the platform.
• Private GPX routes are visible only to you (and to site administrators for moderation or abuse review). We will not redistribute private routes.
• Corrections and tool-size votes may be applied to the public guide once reviewed and accepted. You will be credited generically as "a rider" - we do not publish your email.
• Classifieds listings are visible to anyone until you remove them or they expire.

You can request deletion of any of your content at any time. See "Your rights" in our privacy policy.

Our content

The catalog structure, the site design, and any guides written by the Rider Wiki team are © Pink Commerce Ltd, trading as Rider Wiki. You may quote a guide for personal use; please do not republish full guides without asking. Brand and model names belong to their respective manufacturers - we do not claim affiliation with any of them.

Acceptable use

Our Community Rules set out what is and is not allowed in content you post. In addition:

• You can browse guides, routes and listings, track bikes in your garage, build loadouts and a wardrobe, submit guides, reviews, deals and events for moderation, register an account, upload GPX routes (public or private), and download anyone's public GPX route.
• You can't scrape, mass-download or republish our content without written permission; try to break, overload or probe the site; submit deliberately wrong corrections; upload routes you don't have rights to; or impersonate anyone.
• We apply automated abuse protection (including rate limiting and optional anti-bot checks) to submissions and form posts. Repeatedly tripping it may get you temporarily blocked.

Content reporting and moderation

Every piece of content on Rider Wiki has a flag icon that allows anyone to report it. We review reports and may take the following actions if content breaches our Community Rules or these terms:

• Remove or redact the content.
• Issue a warning to the account responsible.
• Temporarily suspend the account.
• Permanently suspend the account for serious or repeated violations.

Moderator decisions are final. If you believe a decision was made in error, you can email hello@riderwiki.com to request a review.

Street Cred and reputation penalties

Street Cred is the on-platform reputation score awarded for contributions. When content is removed following a moderation action or report, some or all of the Street Cred earned for that content may be deducted. Accounts suspended for serious violations may have their Street Cred reset. Street Cred has no monetary value and is not transferable.

Accounts

• You're responsible for your password and any activity on your account.
• One account per person. Don't share credentials.
• We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or our Community Rules.

Donations and subscriptions

Rider Wiki is free to use and donations never unlock or gate any feature. Supporting us is entirely voluntary. You can support the site in two ways, both processed by Stripe:

• One-off donation. A single payment of an amount you choose.
• Monthly subscription. A recurring monthly payment at one of our supporter tiers (Espresso, Flat White, Full Tank). A subscription bills automatically each month using the card you provided, until you cancel.

A monthly subscription gives you a supporter badge as a thank-you. It is voluntary support, not a paid plan: it does not buy access, remove limits, or change what you can do on the site. Everyone gets the same features whether they donate or not.

Cancelling a subscription. You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@riderwiki.com from your account email, and we will stop the recurring billing. When a subscription is cancelled it is not renewed again - no further monthly charges are taken. Your supporter status remains for the period you have already paid for, then lapses. Cancelling does not, by itself, refund a payment already taken (see refunds below).

We do not store your payment card details. Stripe handles all card data and payment processing on its own systems; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or a subscription is active or cancelled. See our privacy policy for how payment data is handled.

Refunds

This is a summary; the full policy, including how it varies by region, is on our Refunds and cancellations page.

• Donations and subscriptions. Because donations are voluntary support rather than a purchase of goods or services, they are generally non-refundable once processed. We will, however, refund at our discretion - for example where you were charged in error, charged twice, or a monthly subscription renewed after you intended to cancel. To request a refund, email hello@riderwiki.com from your account email and tell us the date and amount.
• Your statutory rights. Nothing above removes any non-waivable refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer law of your country. Where you are a consumer in the UK or EU and a payment counts as a purchase of a digital service, you may have a 14-day cooling-off (right of withdrawal) period; voluntary donations are not normally treated as such a purchase, but if a statutory right applies we will honour it.

Paid classifieds (The Forecourt)

The Forecourt is our rider-to-rider classifieds marketplace. Listing a typical small number of items is free. Some optional listing actions carry a fee - for example publishing extra listings beyond the free allowance, or extending a listing's run. These fees are shown to you before you pay and are processed by Stripe.

• Listing fees are non-refundable once the listing or extension is published and live, because the paid service (showing your listing) has then been provided. This applies even if your item does not sell or you remove the listing early.
• The only exception is where a non-waivable statutory right to a refund applies under the law of your country - so listing fees are non-refundable within the terms of the law, and no further.
• Rider Wiki is not a party to any sale. The Forecourt connects riders; the sale itself is a private transaction directly between the buyer and the seller. We do not handle payment for the item, take title to it, verify it, or guarantee the buyer, seller, item or description. Buying and selling is at your own risk - meet safely and check the goods.

Consumer rights by country

Statutory consumer rights differ depending on where you live. In the UK these include the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (including cooling-off rights); in the EU they include national consumer law implementing EU consumer directives; and other countries have their own rules. Nothing in these terms, the refunds section, or the classifieds section removes or limits any non-waivable right the law of your country gives you as a consumer. Where local law and these terms conflict, your local law wins to the extent it cannot be excluded.

Outbound links and pricing

Rider Wiki carries no affiliate links - outbound links in community deals, gear and classifieds point straight to third-party sites we do not own or control, and we earn nothing from them. We do not set retailer prices. Prices, availability and product details you see at the destination override anything shown or cached on this site.

Disclaimers - the important bit

Rider Wiki is a community reference. It is not professional mechanical advice and it is not a substitute for the OEM service manual or a qualified mechanic. Guides and reviews are contributed by community members - we cannot guarantee their accuracy. Motorcycle maintenance involves real risk to you, your bike and other road users.

• Always cross-check torque values, fluid grades and safety-critical procedures against the OEM service manual for your exact bike and year.
• If you are not confident with a job - brakes, suspension, anything safety-critical - take the bike to a qualified mechanic.
• Tool sizes, part numbers and oil capacities can change year-to-year; verify before buying.
• GPX routes are user-submitted. Road conditions change. Ride within your ability and obey local traffic law. Off-road routes may cross land where access has changed.
• Community-posted deals, events and classifieds listings are the responsibility of the member who posted them. We do not verify the accuracy of listing details, event dates, or deal availability.

The site is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to the site or these terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time. If we materially change these terms, the updated version will appear here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after the change means you accept the new version.

Termination

You can stop using the site any time. If you have an account, you can request deletion via hello@riderwiki.com. We may terminate or restrict your access if you breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes will be heard in the courts of England & Wales, except where local consumer law gives you a non-waivable right to sue in your home jurisdiction.
