Rider Wiki is a trading name of Pink Commerce Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 15562017), registered office Suite 206, Britannia House, 11 Glenthorne Road, London, England, W6 0LH. This page summarises our refunds and cancellations policy in plain language. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms & conditions.

The short version

• Donations and supporter subscriptions are voluntary - they never unlock features, so they are generally non-refundable, but we will refund charging mistakes at our discretion.
• You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time; no further payments are taken after you cancel.
• Classifieds listing fees are non-refundable once a listing is published, except where the law gives you a non-waivable right to a refund.
• Nothing here removes any statutory consumer right you have in your country.

Cancelling a monthly subscription

A supporter subscription bills automatically each month via Stripe until you cancel. To cancel, email hello@riderwiki.com from the email address on your account and ask us to stop your subscription. We will end the recurring billing so no further monthly charge is taken. Your supporter status stays active for the period you have already paid for, then lapses. Cancelling stops future payments; it does not on its own refund a payment already taken (see below).

Refunds on donations and subscriptions

Donations and supporter subscriptions are voluntary support for the platform, not a purchase of goods or services and not a way to buy access, so they are generally non-refundable once processed. We will, however, give a refund at our discretion - for example where:

• you were charged in error or charged twice;
• a technical fault resulted in an incorrect amount; or
• a monthly subscription renewed after you had intended to cancel.

To request a refund, email hello@riderwiki.com from your account email and tell us the date and amount of the payment. Approved refunds go back to the original card via Stripe and can take a few business days to appear, depending on your bank.

Classifieds (The Forecourt) listing fees

The Forecourt is our rider-to-rider classifieds marketplace. Listing a typical small number of items is free. Some optional actions carry a fee shown to you before you pay - for example publishing extra listings beyond the free allowance, or extending a listing's run.

• Listing fees are non-refundable once the listing or extension is published and live, because the paid service has then been provided. This applies even if your item does not sell or you take the listing down early.
• The only exception is where a non-waivable statutory right to a refund applies under the law of your country - listing fees are non-refundable within the terms of the law, and no further.
• Rider Wiki is not a party to any sale. We connect riders; the sale itself is a private transaction directly between buyer and seller. We do not refund or guarantee the item, the price, or the other party - that is between you.

Your statutory rights by region

Consumer rights vary by country, and nothing on this page or in our terms removes a non-waivable right the law of your country gives you.

• UK. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 may apply, including a 14-day cooling-off (cancellation) right for some online purchases of digital services. That cooling-off right is for purchases; voluntary donations are not normally treated as a purchase, but where the right applies we will honour it.
• EU. National consumer law implementing EU consumer directives may give you a 14-day right of withdrawal on certain digital purchases, subject to the usual exceptions. The same applies: where a non-waivable right applies, we honour it.
• Elsewhere. Other countries have their own consumer protection rules. If your local law gives you a refund or cancellation right that cannot be waived, it applies on top of this policy.
